Best Workouts To Crank Out Anywhere, Anytime

Getting a workout in can sometimes seem like an impossible task.

However, we’ve searched high and low to find fitness solutions that will give you great results with a minimal impact on your schedule – but ones that’ll most definitely take as much out of you as possible.

HIIT (High Interval Intensity Training)

I’m sure many of you have come across the concept of HIIT or High Interval Intensity Training. This particular type of exercise is fantastic because it requires no equipment whatsoever and burns maximum calories.

It involves a wide variety of exercises – from burpees, to jumping lunges, squat jumps to the universally-disliked (but always done anyway) pushups.

The idea with HIIT training is to focus, not on the amount of repetitions you can crank out, but rather on giving maximum effort for a short amount of time such as 30 seconds followed by an ‘active’ rest period of 10 – 20 seconds.

An example of an active rest activity could be star jumps or jogging on the spot.

Now, if this all sounds far too involved and probably a little too serious, fear not. Because there is an alternative to HIIT training that is just as effective as burning up all your unwanted calories and can be done in no time at all.

A Great Alternative – Skipping!

Did anyone mention skipping?

Well, if not, then you need to pull out your old skipping rope from school and turn your entire body into a skipping machine.

Jumping rope will target your whole body, especially key areas such as arms, legs, shoulders and abdominal muscles. In other words you’re going to get a six pack that can’t be bought at your local gym.

The best part about these jump rope workouts is that not only do you only need ten to thirty minutes at a time, but this particular fitness solution is all about consistency in order to achieve desired results.

Just use your Body (weight)!

However, if jumping seems too much for you right now then bodyweight exercises could be for you.

These workouts utilize no equipment whatsoever and rely on you being able to lift, twist and work against your own natural body weight.

You could be doing anything from pushups and planks to mountain climbers and jump squats.

Anything is possible if you are willing to make it happen. And while you are pushing out a workout, be sure to wear the right gear in order to minimize injury and help motivate you to want to work out in the first place, because you know you want to take progress photos, don’t you?
